These workshops will normally run alongside our Welcome to Longfield ; Information and Support Service on Thursday mornings. They will cover many different aspects of wellbeing, from healthy activities to dietary advice. Each will complement other Longfield services in supporting you to feel better and more confident, teaching you new ways of managing the issues you are dealing with. They will normally run for two hours over six, consecutive weeks, for people diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, carers and family members.

Our next Wellbeing Workshops will be:

‘Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing (TMW)', starting on Thursday 8th June for eight weeks, 10:00am – 11:00am

An eight week course for people living with life-limiting illness and their family and carers. It is aimed at promoting physical and emotional health and wellbeing, through a specially developed sequence of movements.

 

Relax and Create

Begins Thursday 7th September 2017, 10:00am – 12:00pm for six weeks

Join us at Longfield for a range of relaxing and creative activities - no artistic experience is required. The course is designed to give therapeutic benefits to those with life-limiting illnesses, their carers and family members.
