Our Day Services programmes look to help patients with a range of issues which may include physical, emotional, social, spiritual or psychological problems. From our virtual Patient Support Group, Tai Chi Movements for Wellbeing, one-to-one counselling over the phone, or creative sessions over Zoom – we are still here to support you, whatever your needs may be.
See our What’s on at Longfield Programme of Services for more detail on the services currently running, and how to access them:
Some of our services are being delivered via Zoom or over the phone, but if you are concerned about accessing our Day Services remotely, or need support with using Zoom, we’re here to help. Please get in touch so we can support you, we have an IT Volunteer that can practice and test-run the systems with you, no matter what your query may be.
Ordinarily, we offer a 12-week programme to support people living with life-limiting illness. Our aim being to help you gain more confidence, to manage better at home and to get the opportunity to talk to others in a similar situation. We’ll also help you to decide which of our other therapies and services may be of most help in improving your quality of life, so that you can give them a try.
