Whether you are coming to terms with a loved one’s diagnosis or have been recently bereaved we offer support on a one-to-one basis. Due to current restrictions our counselling service is now being delivered via telephone due to current social-distancing rules. This means you are still able to access a professional service.
To access counselling support as a family member or carer it is not essential for your loved one to have used Longfield’s services previously. This service is delivered by a group of trained and professional staff and volunteers.
Feedback from those that have received telephone counselling has been really positive, some clients were unsure about accessing counselling via the telephone, but after experiencing a session they have really welcomed talking through their worries or concerns and have benefited from re-starting or commencing their counselling.
