The Big Bake
October 14 - October 20
Taking place during National Baking week from 14th – 20th October. We’re asking you to get baking for Longfield! Host a coffee morning or afternoon tea, or simply bake treats for others to enjoy in return for donations. Every penny raised will help provide the free care and support to our patients, family members and carers, at this difficult time.
We’ve never needed you more than now, so get your recipe books, baking trays and aprons out ready! Prepare to bake and fill those tea pots or cafetieres- together we can make every slice of cake, sweet treat or cuppa matter. So whether you’re a fan of a lemon drizzle, cream slice or you’re a cookie monster, it’s a chance to put your baking skills to the test.
And importantly, however you want to get involved, we all need to make sure we follow the latest government coronavirus advice so we can all stay safe and well.
So, whether it’s a cake delivery for your work colleagues or friends, a socially distanced tea, a virtual coffee and cake on video call or a photo competition for the best designed cake, remember that every tea, coffee and treat will help to make sure we can be there to support patients and their families at a time when it is needed most.
