Spiritual Care and Support

This workshop is for health and social care staff and volunteers interested in developing their knowledge and understanding of spiritual care and support at the end of life.  It aims to support practitioners in the delivery of spiritual care and support at the end of life.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify the differences between spirituality and religion, belief and faith
  • Understand the sensitivity and awareness that practitioners need when responding to people’s spiritual needs
  • Improve care and practitioner knowledge and skills
  • Increase practitioner confidence in approaching and engaging in the topic of spiritual care and support with people at the end of life.
