We are excited to share the news with you that our brand new charity shop opened in Stroud this week.

Previously located on Kendrick Street, our Stroud shop has moved to a larger property in King Street.

Longfield’s Director of Operations Ian Cherry said: “We’re delighted to be opening our new King Street store in Stroud.

"It was always part of our business plan to relocate to a bigger site which allows us to offer our customers even more fantastic stock from women’s and men’s clothing to books, children’s toys and homeware.

We have ensured our store adheres to the Government guidelines on safety and social distancing and we look forward to welcoming our old and new customers into the store.”

The store will be open from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.

The shop will not be taking donations initially but the team are working towards a date when they can do so safely.

Take a look inside and listen to Laura Owen, our Retail Operations Manager talk about our new shop and the current measures put in place, to welcome customers, volunteers and staff  back safely.

We're so pleased that customers both old and new have been coming to check out the fab stock.

Margaret our Duty Manager was our greeter on Tuesday and Volunteer Jenny has been busy on the till, equipped with her new face mask and is behind our new screen to ensure safe numbers in the shop. There's also a hand sanitiser point point on entry, so customers can feel assured that safety measures are in place.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!
