We are delighted to share with you the opportunity to visit one of Gloucestershire's most beautiful gardens.

A truly unique venue set in 28 acres of strolling grounds. The Matara Centre offers a relaxed and joyful setting.

The Parklands; A true labour of love.

For over 20 years, Geoffrey has been sculpting the grounds to reflect the crossing of nature and culture’s paths.

With a 28 acre canvas, there are now 11 distinct gardens with 3 small lakes allowing guests to reconnect with nature, and for nature to reconnect with Kingscote.

Creating a treasure trove of quiet spaces and unique moments Matara’s 5 formal gardens are not to be missed...

The Cloistered Courtyard; Inspired by Chinese architecture the Cloistered Courtyard is the piece de resistance.  Elegantly covered and Licensed for Civil Ceremonies it makes an ideal location for an English Outdoor Wedding.

The White Garden; Replete with box hedged flower beds, adorned only with white flowers and a fountain this reading garden set off the Sun Room is a truly picture perfect moment.

The Italian Kitchen Garden; Set off the kitchen this walled garden is perfect for al fresco dining or a little quiet contemplation, soothed by the sounds of the water features.

The Stableyard; The original stable yard brings you into heart of the centre offering a casual space to catch up with old friends, take a breather from it all and truly feel transported into another world.

The Herb Garden; Hidden behind an eight foot Cotswold drystone wall, inspired by Rosemary Verey Gardens, the Herb Garden is quintessentially the English Garden.

Entrance to the gardens on Sunday 30th June is £5 per person, children free.

There will be teas and cakes for a donation.  Longfield and Dementia Connections are the 2 charities to benefit from this event.

An opportunity not to be missed!
