Golden Memories Concert A concert of music in memory of local musician David Jackson. The concert will include David's piano compositions, and some of David's favourite music. With the fine pianist Christopher Boodle. When David was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, he had just finished his first piano composition and was determined to write a second. Moira told him 'it will be finished, and it will be played.' When asked, Christopher Boodle agreed to complete David’s second composition, which we will hear in this concert. Also in the concert, you will hear members of local clubs who influenced David's compositions, with whom he had musical conversations, or whose music he enjoyed: Dark Island, Sue Edwards, Janice Frape, Barry Martin, Clive Perkins, Nicola Clark Longfield Hospice at Home carers visited twice a day, increasing to 3 times a day.
