Brimscombe Port, where we share a warehouse with Stroud District Furniture Bank, is two miles south-east of Stroud just off the A419 on Brimscombe Hill. There are two entrances to the Brimscombe Port Estate next to each other, opposite the Ship Inn. If you are coming from Stroud, we are the second entrance on the left. If you are coming down the hill from Minchinhampton Common, we are the first turning on the right opposite the Ship Inn. The Long Table
Pastoral Support – if there are people who are at risk of becoming isolated or just want some extra support, we are able to phone for a friendly chat/run errands.
Prayer support – if people would like to be prayed for, we will be praying and would love to include them. As cafes and other public spaces shut, we will endeavour to have all our buildings open. They are large and airy which is not always a blessing [!!] but at this time make social distancing easy and risk of cross infection low. We hope this will give people a place for reflection and solace.

Supporting People Gloucestershire
The Supporting People Programme is a government funded initiative which is administered locally by Gloucestershire County Council. Supporting People commissions, funds and regulates housing related support services to vulnerable adults. The support is provided by organisations around Gloucestershire, under contract with the County Council. Both accommodation based and community based support options are available. Client groups that are supported include mental health, learning disabilities, domestic abuse, older people, HIV, offenders, physical and sensory disabilities, and teenage parents. Referrals are made directly to the provider. People can self-refer, or they can ask their social worker, advocate, friend or relative to make the referral on their behalf.
